The Oregon Coast is often blanketed in fog and mist. Coming from Souther California, in the past I might have decided not to paint the ocean on a foggy day. Now I look forward to it, and love the atmosphere and mystery it creates.
These paintings are all done in oil. The top row is Cape Lookout, the lower are of Sunset Bay.
