Coming from Souther California, in the past I might have decided not to paint the ocean on a foggy day, but the Oregon Coast is often blanketed in fog and mist. Now I look forward to it, and love the atmosphere and mystery it creates.
These paintings are all done in oil en plein air and are done along the coast in both California and Oregon.
